Compass Rabies Consulting, LLC was incorporated in July of 2020. Dr. Susan Moore has decades of experience in clinical laboratory medicine, specializing in rabies serology for the last 20 years. After directing the world’s largest rabies serology laboratory for the last 10 years, Dr. Moore has a thorough knowledge of rabies antibody response in humans and all types of animals, regulatory requirements for rabies pet import/export, clinical trials, and rabies research into vaccines and biologics. This unique experience in working with both human and animal clinical laboratory standards has provided her with the knowledge in blending the regulations within a laboratory and identifying similarities and gaps. In addition, she specializes in streamlining clinical operations, budgeting, and process development. She has served on national and international rabies advisory committees and on the first organizing committee for World Rabies Day. With broad experience in advising laboratory, clinical, and research professionals in the use of rabies laboratory techniques for a multitude of purposes she is able to assist the client in improving both the quality and efficiency of current processes, developing new processes, as well as training/mentoring staff towards the client’s vision with uncompromising integrity and compliance.
